This policy outlines the ways in which authors publishing in CILD may archive copies of their work on their personal webpages, institutional or corporate webpages, and in online libraries.
CILD is an open-access journal. Authors may access their articles under a Creative Commons licence. Where an article has been published as open access, the journal encourages the author to share the digital version of the work.
Authors may also reuse the abstract and citation details of their articles—including the title, author’s name, and publication dates—at any time and in any medium, including on social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, blogs, and Twitter, provided that, wherever possible, a link to the article on the journal’s website is included. The link should preferably include the article’s Digital Object Identifier (DOI), which is available in the online citation information.
The accepted version may be deposited on the author’s personal website and/or in the author’s institutional or corporate repository or archive. Self-archiving of the submitted version is not subject to an embargo period.
